Call the Midwife: A Thalidomide Child is born

The final programme in Call the Midwife series 4 ended with a mother being prescribed Distaval, a non-toxic medicine given to mothers suffering morning sickness.  On January 17th a child was born.  The series has attracted a great deal of media attention, leading to a number of interviews on TV and radio and a number of print articles.
